About Me

So, like I said, my name is Seshadhri. Seshadhri Subramanian (it’s a handful, I know) if you’re one of those I-want-to-know-your-full-name types.

I was born in Chennai, a rather large city in the south of India. During the course of what has become my rather colourful existence, I have of course not been confined to that one place. I spent a good part of my early life in Bombay (Mumbai it later became), followed it up with a four year stint in Kenya, returned back for five years to Chennai before joining college in Bangalore.

I did my schooling from a bunch of schools- which I will not subject your eyes to right now- and ¬†for my undergraduate studies, I enrolled into, got through and graduated out of St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). As for my future, I will be heading out to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in England to do my MD (Doctor in Medicine) degree in Cancer Research from the Northern Institute for Cancer Research (NICR), Newcastle University.

I am an avid sports fan. My favourite teams are Liverpool FC, New England Patriots, New York Rangers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Of course, I have second-choice teams in all of these sports but I would live and die by these four (not literally, obviously, because the world needs me alive. But you get the point). I also love to read and write (although I am not very consistent with the latter. This is like my sixth attempt at getting a blog going). I have a whole bunch of role models for various reasons- from Russell Westbrook, Cristiano Ronaldo and Steven Gerrard to Steve Jobs, Eminem and (with grudging respect) Sir Alex Ferguson.

I also love music. movies and TV. My favourite shows as of now are Homeland, The Crown, Atlanta and pretty much anything else that has a brilliant storyline and/or brilliant acting. My favourite actors from Hollywood include Brad Pitt and Emma Watson among others while my favourite singers include Eminem and Shakira.

So that is about as brief as I could be about myself. There’s a lot about me that you still don’t know- it could take a while if I really get going on that subject- but for now, this should suffice.
